Since my garden was all planted I decided to check out North Willow and South Willow canyon. These canyons are by my house and have trout in them. The last time that I checked South Willow it was a couple of weeks ago. At that time the water was too high and off color.

While driving up there I came across a hoard of mormon crickets. These crickets are more aggressive than the closely related timid baptist crickets. I think that next time I go up there I will try to catch some and feed them to my ducks. I am always looking for ways to save money and it kind of has a permaculture feel to it.

When I got back from this little adventure I decided to break down my beehive and add my bee pollen trap. Unfortunately four bees got into my veil and stung me. I now have a fat head. My wife will argue that I already had a fat head.
