Yesterday I bought a new blackpowder rifle at Walmart. It was on sale. This may have something to do with the fact that the blackpowder hunt is over with for the year. It was only $79.00. It is a CVA Buckmaster. I think that the marketing department at CVA is playing around with subliminal messages. If you turned the box that the gun came in a certain way the word Buckmaster appeared to be another word.

I took the gun out shooting today with my son Nathan and my friend Eddie.
On our way back from shooting my friend Eddie spotted a cotton tail rabbit. He was able to give it a head shot with his .22 pistol. Just like Kurt Cobain only cleaner. He then field dressed the rabbit. This involved pulling the skin off of the rabbit and then pulling its head off. The rabbit was then flicked so that all of its innards flew out of the body.

Afterwards I had to clean my gun. Here is a picture of it all broken down and ready for cleaning.
All in all it was a fun day.
